Looks and sounds decent enough, the usual consistent Rip from Replica.
Video and Audio isnt that different from the DVD-Screener though.

Not keen on the Deleted Scenes being there as, Deleted Scenes without a movie is kinda dull, and usually they are deleted for a reason, but they are on a low bitrate, so thats good.

9/9/?

i highly doubt you've already watched this movie to give a "review of this release." (meaning Replica, idiot below)

People wanna know more than just what the sample looks like. (True statement, sample doesnt show d|ck, wakeup)

chickenwang: If you need to know a review of the movie, then go to http://www.imdb.com

Otherwise, keep your comments to yourself. Read on other posts to see what kind of forum this is before writing because you will see reviews of samples are what people want to know (if they give their opinion of the movie, then that is their $.02 worth).

Nope havn't watched the movie, and havn't saw the sample either, i usually download 8-10 random rars to judge a DVDR release, so i can get a more accurate representation of the quality.

As for rating the movie, its only a added option, only rating the video and audio are mandatory on here.

Should be random intelligence testing getting done on here these days.

Uh, listen jackass, I hope you didnt just join to post that message. Re-read what I wrote...."to give a review of this release"....did I say review of the movie? No.. .release meaning Replica, the group who ripped the movie. Following? Just because I have one post doesnt mean I dont know what this site is about.

I knew he hadnt seen the Replica release because he replied too fast. His connections aren't that good to scene releases. Maybe you should just stick to your imbd's and leave this work to the big boys

You know nothing!!

How do you know what i have access to, and what i dont, and this release wasnt exactly slow in spreading either.

I have it as Pre'ing 1:56pm GMT, yesterday afternoon, by about 2:30pm, it had hit Usenet and even Torrentsites not long after.

I posted my comments at 3:31pm GMT, so how exactly was that to early for me to have grabbed this????

Posted by kling0n on 02-20-2006 12:04 AM:

Video quality is very good. There is no major artifacting thanks to the high bitrate.

I give it a 9/10/7

i didnt realise the amount of retards that are about these days. had someone not believe that there was a program called imgtool burn yesterday. great release and quite a good movie.

Posted by omega59 on 02-21-2006 05:26 PM:

really enjoyed it.

Posted by immun3 on 02-22-2006 12:02 PM:

Good rip overall, bitrate not hindered too much as with some other Replica releases over the past week or so.

At 4000kps the picture is very clean, no artifacing noticed particularly. No complaints about the audio either good stuff.

The movie itself was generally a well portrayed and acted epic. Maybe a little slow moving.....and to be honest i was expecting more in the action department. But i guess that was the point; there was no action in Swoff's experience of the 1st Gulf War.

9/10/8

Posted by Jassll on 02-23-2006 05:58 PM:

Video - 9/10 - not untouched but high bitrate, looked great
Audio - 10/10 - no complaints, 5.1
Movie - 6/10 - saw this in theatres as well. I enjoyed it. Many people complain of the lack of action but that wasn't its style nor historical. It had a few good areas of intense times, great acting, funny movie. Worth the watch/download/buy/rent.

Great release Replica. Keep up the good work.

Posted by ol_perfesser on 02-25-2006 05:57 PM:

Nice quality. Good sound. Movie kind of gets the feel of Desert Storm - or for that matter war in general from the grunts eye view.
