The Worlds Fastest Indian- DVDSCR-TDL

This is one of the greatest movies of all time to me. I had to accompany someone to this movie, and when I walked in I thought I would be bored the entire time. Boy was I wrong. This movie had me captivated the entire time. I had to piss about half way through and didn't because I didn't want to miss anything. I haven't had a movie do that in years. I liked it so much, I went to see it again. This is a definite keeper until retail.

Video: 9

Audio: 9

Movie :10

If you leech a movie, make it this one.

The Worlds Fastest Indian *LiMITED* - DVD SCR - TDL

Great film watched in full last night. Feel good film without being soppy, has you smiling and laughing thoughout.
Video is a tad blurry for a dvd screener still well watchable though, no black and white scenes just a small property of message that appears bottom of screen about 4 times I think I didnt really count as it was not intrusive atall.

8/9/9 as dvd screener

Thanks TDL good job!

This movie is excellent. Watched this rls today and what a great movie it is!

As for quality. Nice, if somewhat blurry pic. WS. Occasional 'property of' messages. But not intrusive to piss you off.

Audio is excellent, although it may have been my PC, but i think the audio cut out once at the start for a brief second or two.

Excellent movie. Worth paying to see at the theatre when it opens this week.

this encode is a poor effort
someone clearly fucked up
the resolution is 512x224 which basically explains the blurryness. The average DRF of the video is 2.2 !!!
Something like 1/4 of this video is encoded with the quantizer 1 which is visually identical to quantizer 2 but massively larger in size. Its basically only used to pad the bitrate to shut the n00bs up on doom 9 who constantly moan about undersized videos.

What does this mean ? Means the resolution is so low it might have fit on 1 CD with mp3 audio whilst still oboey the scene rules. (ie average DRF under 4) Or, seeing as the source is dvd they could have used a more reasonable resolution .....

To be honest, instead of releasing such massively oversized files I would prefer it, if they had just used the same settings but with a max quantizer of 2 for the I/P/B frames. The result would be visually identical but substationally smaller. They could just have each CD as 400meg, or whatever. Would save me some downloading time.
