The video on this looks fuzzy even though it has a good bit-rate... Anyone else noticed this?

Posted by biggbyte on 03-11-2006 11:50 AM:

yea pretty fuzzy video. the reported bitrate in the nfo seems exaggerated a bit.

assuming the bitrate displayed by my standalone is correct, it seemed that the higher the bitrate was, the more fuzzy the picture. picture looked pretty clear when the bitrate was down around 3k. odd. but again my player might not be reporting it accurately.

pretty good otherwise, audio was ok. movie was good but nothing spectacular.

thanks to aNBc for the release.

couldve been better. they kept a constant bitrate through the entire movie, even into the end credits.

Problem is the MaxBitrate is only 5.198 Mbps. Dont leave much room to flux between the average 4.7 and the Max 5.2. So thats why its appears constant. Should have been like 8.0-9.0 Max.

The video quality is good and so is the audio. However, the movie itself is just not that good. It starts to lose you while watching it. It becomes boring. Not worth buying.

I did see the fuzziness, and have also seen better quality releases. A little disappointed.
