props on the fix, nfo is really vauge though on how to actually apply the fix.

Full nfo:

Lets collect them all
After a repack and a proper here is the fix.
The mptdvd release was 2.8mb oversized.
I removed some unused menu parts and remade some dummy files.
A ppf fix was not possible so you have to extract and overwrite
the files.
I also discovered about a 100 ifo errors in the mpt release.
I had no time to fix them all sorry.
Enjoy

Which is great & all. But for the millions of people out there that dunno wtf all these mean, think the nfo could have at least explained what to do with all these files !

"Extract and overwrite files" seems pretty straight forward to me. Probably even more user friendly for a noob, as some people get nervous when asked to execute a .bat file.

Thanks for the fix.

You have to mount the .img with a virtual drive like Daemon Tools or the one in Alcohol 120% and rip the VIDEO_TS . Then add those files to the folder and then burn it as is or remake the img with img tool classic.

or if you use dvd-r just burn as normal as the fix is for those that dvd+r.

The easiest thing is what I did. Sure I was going to go the Daemon Toolz route and only use it but this is what I did (let it be known that I hate DVD Shrink but it's not bad for doing things like this -- also I don't know if the same could have been done strictly with Daemon just as quickly but here's what I did):

1-- I mounted the oversized .img to Daemon

2-- I opened *gasp* DVD Shrink which I haven't opened in prolly a year.

3-- I went to some toolbar option that showed all the VOB's and what not on the disc from the VIDEO_TS dir.

4-- I dragged and dropped all of those files into a "Capote" folder but a subfolder I had in there "VIDEO_TS" I made for this 'fix' on my Desktop. This took 1 minute.

5-- I moved all the VOB's and crap from this 'fix' into that same 'Capote' folder and overwrote all of the same files.

6-- I opened up my image creator program called "ImgTool" which lets me make an .iso or .img if I want. Made the img/iso.

Burnt with DVD Decryptor.

Done deal. But yes I agree with all of you that say that the nfo could have at LEAST given a little bit of info to newbs on how to use that fix. lol I can't believe they didn't. Oh well.

Are you saying I am a newb?

First of all, kid, act more mature and don't be calling people 'newbs' whom you know nothing about.

You just joined this forum 3 months ago. You are a newbie to these forums.

I know what I'm doing; been around since the VHS ripping days. I use CCE.
