Daft Punk touring again??????????????????????????????

I nearly shit my pants when i read on the Daft Punk website a bunch of TOUR dates.

It's all in French though so I don't actually know if it's them or if it's Thomas Bangalter doing solo DJ stuff or quite what these dates actually are!

It strikes me as odd that these dates really ARE Daft Punk dates as they vowed never to tour again in 1997 and as far as I am aware they have kept that promise.

If this news is true, I'M THERE.

Also, if it says where to order concert tickets, please let me know where, I want to order some. I don't give a fuck where they are for, Japan, France, USA. I don't give a fuck. I want to see Daft Punk live.

I seen them at glastonbury in 1997, they was in the dance tent, Its was a good set, but I cant really remmber much apart from the mud.........

1997 was the last year they went live. I think Tribal was their last ever gig.

I know people that went to that Tribal Gathering 97 who said the marquee was so packed they put an extra rig outside as people were just crowding round this one tent.

At the end they announced they were finished doing live sets as Guy-Manuel fucked his ears up and went deaf in one ear. They vowed never to perform live again.

If these tour dates are real, i'm there. This is HUGE news in the music industry. And it's made my day.

2. Eurockéennes : That's the name of the festival they're playing at. Here's the official site (fr) and here's a direct link to international bookings.

3. According to the festival's site, Daft punk's tour will contain 9 dates (they didn't give details).
