WHATS THE PROBLEM

I dont quite understand why people get so indignit when it comes to rating these movies. Has anyone ever thought that all tv's and home theatre systems are not created equal. and neither are the cables that you hook them up with. This is why you get such a variation in sound and audio quality. There is a reason why a 30 in regular tv cost a hell of alot less than a 30 in plasma/lcd/ hdtv. So stop complaining and debating on who is right and who is wrong on movie quality, you all are. For those who find the quality is aliitle worse on there tv verses the quality on someone elses system, well upgrade sometimes something as little as a s-cable can make all the difference in the world. And for those of you who have tv's so old that you need a converter box just to hook your dvd player up, well you are just shit out of luck, and will always get a lesser quality picture and sound. just a little knowledge from someone who knows

Yeah! Let's take this 480x480 SVCD and display it on a 1920x1080 panel! That'll do the trick. You're obvisouly someone who DOESN'T know. There's a job waiting for you at Best Buy.

PAY ATTENTION

BOXY BROWN,

I DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT TRYING TO VIEW A SVCD ON A 50 OR 60 INCH SCREEN. WHAT I SAID WAS IN ESSENCE THAT YOU WILL GET A BETTER PICTURE AND SOUND ON A NEWER BETTER QUALITY TV. I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT BECAUSE I HAVE 5 TV'S IN MY HOUSE AND MY OLDER TV'S PLAY THIS MOVIE LIKE CRAP, BOTH SOUND AND VIDEO, WHERE AS MY NEWER HDTV IS VERY WATCHABLE. I'M NOT HERE TO DEBATE, JUST TAKE IT FOR WHAT IT IS. AND BY THE WAY, I AM A ENGINEER FOR PANASONIC

Am in process of getting this release right now, but just watched the sample and was very impressed. This is one of the more watchable cams I've seen in a long time. Sure it is a little too blue, but it hasn't been labelled as a ts or tc. In fact, the audio is the only thing that separates it quality wise from a lot of ts releases.

v-9
a-6
m-lookin good so far

Posted by josh_rs on 03-25-2006 06:43 PM:

From sample:

V: 7
A: 6
M: Still DL

Video is clear, despite a little washed out. Audio is a bit too low, but pretty decent and understandable. A little hollow, but it's usual in a cam. I would even give a 8/8, comparing to some Prevail's cams, like emily rose. Just don't know why a 3 cds svcd , it would make no big difference a 2 cd vcd.
