Well I have the PAL screener from boom, and i definitely wasted my time downloading this thing. The screener kicks this release on its ear. The first thing I said to myself when watching in on my 42inch plasma is that the video quality is not as crisp and solid as the Screener that was released by boom. I normally don't notice these things with an animation but after watching the screener 3 times with the kids , I noticed the video was no where near as good as the screener. Of course you have the menu and extras, but i couldn't care less for extras. The menu is nice to have if doesn't take too much from the quality of the main movie. Get this release if you like the extras, but if you don't care for extras, and you have the screener, don't bother downloading this.

tempo your review was *very* helpful...
Have to agree on the above too.
Compared rar.06 on the Boom Screener to rar.22 on the Replica release, and have to say the Boom Screener is sharper, smoother, and brighter with better colour.
The sound is also louder on the DVD Screener making it sound a bit better, but cant hear a difference otherwise.
If video and audio quality are your main concern and you havnt grabbed either and have no problems playing Pal then the Boom release is still the one to get, if you like Extras and NTSC then grab this, though i dont blame Replica for this, as i think the original has to take the blame.
8/9/?
Not having the PAL screener, I'll take this one. I think Pal gives a slightly sharper picture with better color than NTSC (576 vs 480 lines of resolution) But my DVD player converts the PAL to NTSC if I have a PAL DVD, anyway. (NFO states CCE - 7 pass, perhaps the screener was untouched as well)
Sound was OK. I assume 5.1, but wasn't given any choice other than English or French (which was ripped).

I downloaded the PAL screener based on these comments, and I must disagree now that I've seen the movie. the boom release seemed off color (too red). the replica sample looked better.
I'm late getting around to this as I assumed from the title it was yet another of those "Hood" movies. It was only after reading an online review I realised it was a 3-D animation.
I don't see how anyone could compare this rip with a screener? It is anamorphic, has 5.1 surround, extended scenes, director's commentary, making of, trailer and a very clever music video.
Full marks to Replica on this one.
