it's decent. blurry. when there is motion, the video seems to shudder. Like its got bad ivtc or something. Audio has a pretty loud background hum/hiss.

Video: 6

Audio: 6

Movie: 2

Sucked ass. Wasn't scary at all.

Not horrible, not the best i've seen either. The humm in the audio is kind of annoying. It's a nice release overall.

7/7/3

from sample, blur mentioned in the nfo is hardly noticeable, video is very clean, audio does have a sorta hum to it as mentioned above, but still damn good for a non-dvd screener.

video - 8 (colors look good, not blurry or pixelated that i noticed)
audio - 8 (10 if it wasnt for that hum)
movie - ? still havent see it

Not great for a vhs scr to be honest..

6 not very clear
5 nasty hum in the background ( soounds like someones get the vaccum on )
? i'll wait for dvdscr or retail now

For a screener I'm disappointed.

Besides the slight his, it's blurry and shudders during some scenes are previously mentioned. It's crap quality if you ask me, it could be better.

Video: 7
Audio: 6
Movie: ?

Video - 7.5
Could be a little sharper. Very pixely for a VHS screener, but definately watchable.

Audio - 6
Well, I decided to demux this and run the audio through goldwave to filter out the hum. You know what, it worked, but the audio wasn't that great to begin with, but at least the hum is gone. Either way...

I'm actually considering watching this movie, just to see what a lot of people were talking about. Then again, I asked everyone who told me they wanted to see this "why", since it's been done 100 times already. Anywayz, if you're pondering this release, the audio might be enough of a reason to wait at least for a dvdscr, but it's not like this is something epic, so a lil' quality loss isn't as bad.

How did your get rid of the hum? I have the program but was hoping you could tell me how it's done.

Thank you!

::EDIT:: Please discuss this in the Encoding forum, not comments threads. Thanks - NS::

The audio was so annoying I almost couldn't watch the film. The storyline is good even though it is a multi remake. The lead role is one hell of a hottie and makes the movie worth watching any day of the week.
