Bram Stoker has nothing to do with this movie, the title is only Dracula´s Curse

bram stoker CREATED dracula. the name comes from a war lord that ruled in what's now romania, vlad the impaler, and when bram heard a story of how he would dip his bread in the blood of his enemies he changed the name of his vampire novel to 'dracula'. i can't remember the original title off top, but it was actually vlad's pen name for signing treaties and whatnot. i mean 'vlad the impaler' vs. 'vlad dracula'...which would you pick? those papers still exist too btw, signed by the REAL dracula

any ways, it basiclly means EVERY movie about dracula is "bram stoker's dracula", no matter what comes afterwards. otherwise, it's like using mickey mouse in a movie and not giving credit to disney :P

...

just checked and it's only IMDb being lazy, they even leave it out of the '92 title...

What I reallymeant is that Draculas Curse do not have anything to do with the movie Bram Strokers Dracula from '92.

Anyway all movies about Dracula is not Bram Stokers there are other writers who adapt their version´s f the story just like alot religions have the same basic foundation but other names for same thing

Something with vampire movies there are some diff versions of the story the book series that Interview with a vampire is in is one. And Underworld series belongs to another.

dracula actually means "son of dracul", which is romanian for dragon or devil. Vlad the Impalers name comes from his father Vlad Dracul. He is Vlad, Son of the Devil (or Dragon if you will)

And in regards to your second point, every movie about Dracula wouldn't be Bram Stokers Dracula, because Bram Stoker didn't create the legend. He only penned it. Therefore, any movie about Dracula is it's own movie, and is free to edit the story as much as they feel they need for their own purposes. It's just that throughout the years, Bram Stoker's Dracula has been the most popular story to be told.
