is this the theatrical version or the unrated/extended version?

Posted by cadillact on 04-29-2006 02:00 AM:

Well the disc contains 2 options when you start the movie.

R- Rated and Unrated Version.

The R-rated button is the only one that works since the unrated just returns to the menu, if selected.

I tested this on the computer with Power DVD.

Will test with other software to see it the result is the same.

IF I cant get the unrated to work its just an easy step to delete the IMG.

Looks like everything but PGC1 of VTS8 was blanked. The button for the unrated version of the movie links to PGC2 which contains nothing but a 15 frame cell reused over and over. So I guess they (accidentally?) kept the wrong version of the movie.

The disk starts off with the R rating notice. Even though it asks to choose R or unrated when you select play (or even to acess by scene) only the R version is on the disk. I don't know what extra scenes may be in the "unrated" version - maybe more of the "milk maid"?

Video - good, audio 5.1, good, movie interestingly funny, typical Adam Sandler crew. Linda looks a lot sexier than she does on E.R.

I can only presume that this version is actually the unrated version after watching it, due to the language and nudity, which was good.
