First of all, Id say that half the damn picture is cropped off when you add the top and bottom. I cant stand OVERcropping. but besides that. Slightly blurry as if each scene has to come into focus for a second then it seems to clear a little. The color is ok but a bit washed out, not very vivid... but hey at least everything isnt BLUE like so many other releases lately. The sound is pretty decent, a little bit little low with slight echo but ive heard way worse. Overall its a watchable release if you can stand the crop[I'd just pan & scan it to 4:3 if i were desperate]

7/7/8

another note: 2 of my 3 video players wouldnt play the sample, only media player did but the full avi played fine. go figure.

ZN, BLiNK, INCiTE GET A SOURCE

Posted by WhiteNoiseMak on 05-08-2006 11:10 PM:

Just finished watching this release and its not too bad.

The audio does drift in and out of sync which gets a bit annoying, especially knowing there’s going to be at least another 5 re-encode releases labeled as PROPER, due to that sync problem ...just like scary movie 4 which still hasn't been fixed!

Posted by CATBOX on 05-09-2006 04:34 AM:

Probably the best of the many releases. Video is a tad dark, especially for a monitor. Slight problem with fast motion scenes blurring for a split second before focusing. There is some slight cropping from the top and bottom, but its not bad at all. Audio is in sync for 99% of the time, but there are a few scenes where a quote will be out of sync. The SUB atom has more sync problem than this. There are definitely more people walking in front of the camera on this release. That guy must pee like 4 or 5 times. :-) I enjoyed the movie, loads of action, and several hot girls.

V - 8 Tad blurry, but better AR than SUBatom.
A - 8 Nice and clear. Very minimal sync issues.
M - 8 See above.

now this could just be me, and i did listen to it through some p-o-s headphones last nite, but i could hear this strange looping beeping sound on the audio...think kit the car from knight rider, but slightly higher tone....only real faint, but came back a few times......video, dark and blueish at times....other than that, glad i got this rls...good work ZN

good action...other than that pretty weak

7/7/5

some motion blur, overcropped top and bottom as said previous (not a major problem). Audio is strange....only has bottom half of waveform if viewed. Not massive problems when watching, but def odd none the less. If this is supposed to be the best copy....then I would wait a while longer to enjoy this film.... (Damn that scene rush for the blockbuster )

Posted by farcus on 05-11-2006 10:37 PM:

Posted by Eternity on 05-12-2006 09:10 AM:

ZN rls don't have russian subtitles, i think its a ZN source. v8/a8/m8 great job ZN!

The source seems to be Spanish? The subtitles of the places, countries, etc are in spanish...I cant read russian but can read Spanish...

LOL They can create a copy of someones face and 'burn' it onto a mask but they cant afford a sat phone that has signal everywere! )When he is trying to phone in the car)

V=7: great colours, just a little bit unsharp.
A=7: a few sync problems and much bass.
M=7: just a more spiced up version than the first.
Not near as good as part two (action wise).

video - 7... its blurry, but there is no pixelation on the dark scenes and you can still more or less see whats going on.

audio - 4... theres some kind of background noise to the audio, hard to tell what it is... but it is direct. but more irritatingly it goes in and out of sync throughout the entire fucking film. its enough to drive you insane. it seems maven are the only telesync group who can sync their audio properly.

movie - 6... it was alright, good explosions
