since ORC only does SVCD I could care less about thier releases but I got this to try and get the best copy of Superman.. SVCD is a thing of the past anyways, get a DivX DVDplayer knuckleheads, they are under $100 now. However, this is a decent release obviously from the same source as MaVeN.

7.5/7/7

If SVCD is a thing of the past why did you think it might be a better copy than MaVen's Xvid ?? KNUCKLEHEAD !!

Just concentrate on the release not your own preferencies or don't bother posting.

If everyone loves maven so much can't they open a maven appreciation thread and leave these ones for rating releases - it's not a case of my dad's harder than yours.
V - 8.5 (brighter and better than maven's but goes very slightly dark and light)
A - 8 (very nice)
M - 8 I liked it

Ratings based on sample

It could very well be a better copy if its from a better source, regardless of the format of encoding, use your head. I never said SVCD could not look as good as an as XVID, the difference for the most part is in filesize smartguy. We ARE allowed to post opinions and comments here about *ALL* aspects of the release but NOT flame other users. Grow up.

Xvid players are 35 dollars used on amazon. Svcd is just a waste of time, cdrs, and bandwidth. Plus this is a reencode of the same damn avi. Any idiot could have done the same thing. You wont get better quality by reencoding it.
To all you who love svcd: Have fun buying expensive blank cds, changing cds 1/3 of the way through, and taking an extra hour to download your crap!
ORC just wanted credit. Maven probably let them use their source just to shut them up. Besides, this has been nuked anyways.

Cost of Blank CD = 10c

Maven is 2CD, ORC is 3cd, and most if not all my movies i watch on my TV. by this account, I expect your an early adopter of the 'Blue Ray' DVD garbage by sony.

Whats it nuked for? I see some people nuking it for 'reencode' - which i doubt, considering both ORC and Maven greeted each other in the nfo. seems theyre working together or something.

Before you go flaming people, wernt you the moron posting in general sucking maven off about there equipment? get a clue. thanks.

Edit--- now i remember who you are. That fucking moron who bitched about 'getting scammed' because you thought u got a job over someone who added you on myspace. Your stupidity all but makes sense now

Nice release, reminds me of CTP.

8/7/5 5- wasnt a fan of it

perhaps your right about cdr's being over priced and svcd's slowly becoming outdated, but your a complete fucking moron. How can you assume you know anything about what maven and orc are doing togeather. Im not saying i do either, but you should shut your dumbass mouth up and not assume that orc is just a scumbag group trying to get credit. Also, you didnt even rate the release, so it looks to me like your here to brake rules 6, 4 and 7.

7/7/8

and besides, some people still like svcd anyways.

Hey asshole, Cdrs arent cheap here, not for the purpose they serve. Any store sells a 50 pack for anywhere from 10-15 dollars and hold 700 megs. dvdrs sell for 100 pack for 20 dollars and hold 7 times as much as cdr holds.
If you can add properly, that comes out to 20 cents a dvdr, worth 7 times as much as a cdr, and, lets say 50 pack is 10 dollars so you shut the fuck up, That comes out to 20 cents a cdr. Even if you get a 50 pack for 5 dollars thats still 10 cents a cdr...remember that dvdr is worth 7 times a cdr and costs 20 cents a piece. Now go watch your stupid reencoded svcd and have fun getting up to change cds halfway through. and leave the real format to me.
Blu-Ray? I will never have one in my home. Its the next beta-max.
And one more thing, you said that because the mvn one was 2 cds and the svcd is 3 cds...its still invalid. With an xvid player you dont have to get up and change the cd, hell with a ps2 you dont have to either. All you have to do is use your remote and select it, now piss off!

Guess thats what you get for being such a retarded shopper too.

Look here, twat.

Im not sure where YOU shop..

50/10 = 5c a disk. My bad, 5c cheaper then my first estimate.

edit -- oh and you suck at math too, recalcuate the prices/estimate per disk you posted. you were 15c over or so. aka 4x the price total.

Bud....unless you know what your talking about...just dont talk?
