Yes because it is a FRENCH movie. It also has English and other subs included in the release. So what's the problem? Some of you can't stand movies in foreign languages with subtitles, even if they are so many times better then anything produced in Hollycrap/USA?

Let me guess, you would rather have it dubbed in English with those annoying voices?

my first post was nothing more than a heads-up..to let a lot of people know it ISNT english language

i DIDNT say it didnt have subs and i DIDNT say there was a problem with it..i didnt say i couldnt watch a subbed movie,,i also DIDNT say usa/hollywood movies were better

thats YOU jumping to conclusions and making presumptions

The video appears to be clean, but a bit dull. Now this isn't bad at all, just noticed it some. Sound is good, but as long as I can read I'm good to go. As far as Hollycrap, I'm not always down with many things they do or try to tell us what to think. How could anyone realy complain when Hollywood/USA sets the standard in the whole movie industry is beyone me. Don't take it the wrong way, I love watching spainish/mexican/colombian movies. Any good movie from where ever I'm down with.

Mailman, Hollywood/USA sets the standard for no other than Hollywood and the USA.

While I appreciate your intentions, I have to assure you that empires and civilizations rose and fell long before the United States (and Hollywood) were anything more than a speck of dust in a sea of dragons. They've managed to invent mathematics, written language, literature and the dramatic arts long before Joe Eszterhas penned "Showgirls" ( in fact, the ancient Greek set the standard for the modern dramatic structure).

I'm sure that, even nowadays, the rest of the world manage to create their own movies, literature and culture without having to look to Disney or Urkel on "Family Matters" for inspiration.

Urkel??? The best you can pull out of your hat Bullwinkle is Urkel! That is so good, I know you can slam better then that man. You made me laugh and thanks for that. Like the imput and all, but come on dude, you can throw in there some other loser off of the TV besides Urkel. On a different note, I do wish we could find more films from all over, especially ones that deal with history like, "The Downfall."

The point was that Family Matters ran for NINE YEARS, with steady ratings. What standard does that set for the world?

As for foreign films, thank the internet for the opportunity to discover them, because American distributors don't like subtitled fare (and neither do most moviegoers).

BTW did you know that the biggest producer of movies was India, not the USA? Bollywood rules, apparently.
