The whole point of this site is to rate the quality of the movies, what's the point if according to you we should accept every release and get on our knees to please to group?

I don't know why people say that these copies are incomplete. i read a review on a popular site and it said that you are thrust into the movie, there is the universal sign and then the film starts in a club. there aren't any titles. i think that just because this is miami vice people think that you get two minutes of jan hammer and a cool titles sequence. no titles! no jan hammer! live with it! this film is complete! Blame Michael Mann for starting his film in the middle of a scene in a nightclub.

oh, and as for the movie.

V 8 - nice - wee bit dark (expected)

A 8 - Nice

M 7 - I've seen the 1st part of it and quite enjoyed it. but like most mann films, it take a while to get used to.

Before you comment on the beginning of the film maybe you should watch it in the theatre first, I saw it the opening weekend and that is EXACTLY how the movie starts. Zero credits, zero intro, just the universal logo and then right into the Linkin Park/Jay-Z song with the sillotte of the dancing girl. You already got an intro to the Characters in the 5 years the show was on so Michael Mann doesn't waste his time with a cheese intro, he goes RIGHT into the story

Actually, nothing is missing from the beginning. I just caught this in the theaters and it begins the same way. There are no opening titles. It goes straight from the Universal logo to the loud club scene.

I just downloaded the sample and the audio was dubbed into Spanish. Is the entire movied dubbed in spanish?

I've seen this movie in theatres, and right after the universal logo, the movie starts off rite away in the club with the Jay-Z/Linkin Park Numb Encore song. So if that's exactly how it starts on this release, its not incomplete.

hi all, from sample can't really check out the sound. Back ground music most of it. once they talk the sample is over, didn't get chance to check syn etc. Going by this and info previous regarding not complete i'll wait.

I don't know how man y times its been mentioned in other threads but the movie begins like that in the theatres....i should know i saw it in the theatre.......it goes from the universal logo to the club scene with the jay-z linkon park song (the one from the trailer) as the music........so for all of you tools who are complaining pay some money and go watch it or be thankful for the rls.

V - 8.5
S - 7 - a little static
M - 9.5 - have to understand its like the show in that the first half sets up the second half... and don't complain about the camera cause it adds effect to the film
