I watch it whenever I get the chance. I just love it when they piss all over someones parade.

noted don't ever take 1 show as the defacto standard for a topic. They do a great job of showing one side of the story. It's a great show though and does make a lot of good and valid points just sometimes gets stuff a little wrong.

its fun to watch but they arent always right. E.g. the show about second hand smoke slated the one study which was incorrect, but there have been several more on the same subject proving a correlation in the BMJ since.

Still, fun to watch the ad hominem arguments play out, especially that bloke with the super weird laugh in the end of the world episode

Did they ever claim that second hand smoke was unharmful? Most of the show went after disproving the stuff the anti-smoker faggot used as proof, not claming that it was harmless.

well they were going on about the movement and curtailment of civil liberties with regards to that. Now, they dont say that its unharmful but wasnt there a segment showing how the figures relate to real life (12.5 in 100, 000 as apposed to 10 in a 100,000)

anywho, like i said, its fun to see them go on against the idiots who make up most of these things and take stupid peoples money, time and rights for it, but the points they advocate could easily be misinterpreted by Joe Public.

However, most of the stuff they debunk is pretty strong, bottled water, alt medicine etc.

Its still a great show, I mean who doesnt love seeing phonies being ass whooped. The psychic one was great.
