i don't like the color.

is there a setting where you can encode in fewer colors?

cuz this shit looks like 16bit or lower. The colors don't blend, and it really shows on grey or darker scenes. the color is lost

example. look at the neck and wall:

looks fine to me... for someone named "dontgiveafuck", you sure seem to for something that is free, and pretty good. If I want better quality, I'll get the true DVD release.

Although I've had the DVDScr for quite some time, so this almost seems not needed for anyone who has that, as it's pic was fine.

I give this 8/9/7

(movie a 7, cuz once you get past the "Mind Fawk" bit of it, it's really boring first half, and not much for repeat watchings)

Hmmmmmmmm

Well for a start dontgiveafuck is correct the colours are off, you only need to compare the intro with a retail
dvd with the same intro to see this you will also find out its not cropped either if you do this

Good news is you can clean it up, in the screen shot top is Retail, middle is this release and bottom is this release cleaned up

V - 6

A - 8

M - ?

PS : This is not a complaint its an observation

Kind of not the place to discuss this but i'll give you the settings the rest your have to figure out.

I used Virtualdubmod with an RGB filter by Emiliano Ferrari

RGB filter set to

Cyan > Red = 96.7 %
Magenta > Green = 103.3 %
