Hey every0ne I'm looking for sum feedback if anyone has the 360 chips installed yet.

Ive seen 2 so far ...... www.xboxscene.com has the globe360 and www.modchip.com has the Fractal 360 ...i heard the globe doesnt play all the backups and stuff.....so jus wanted to hear sum facts if anyone has any info

but on a serious note , i didnt even know you could play back-up games on it , i though no one had managed to crack the ecryption surronding the games yet !

If it helps I've got a Samsung Drive flashed with the Xtreme firmware version 3.something and it works a treat. There's a new version out now but unless they start banning people on Live I'm sticking with this one.

Modchips work exactly the same except they can swap between the original and the modded firmware, so you can very safely play backups on xbox live. Not that anyone's actually been banned yet.

They won't let you play homebrew or anything like that though.

No mod chip needed yet as noone has really developed homebrew worth looking at... so if its to play games just flash with xtreme. I think they are up to v4.2 or something like that but they all play backups just fine.....
