a-5 direct? but wierd effect to this sample volume not clever

audio sounds like dialogue thru tin can

Video is decent enough for a TS ,slightly cropped but clear.
Audio is very poor throughout.
It sounds like it has been heavily filtered ,voices are very muffled and hard to understand alot of the time.
Sound is encoded so that it comes thru the rear speakers on a surround sound system.
The film intself wasnt too bad,I got the feeling that alot of it was left on the cutting room floor .
