Nice rip of a fairly decent flick.
V-9
A-10 (for the DTS)
M-7
No real need for this.. 3.3 mbit wont look to hot at all and if you do DTS should cut the 5.1 out ..CuriousJotos rip was untouched and looked amazing ..

the CJ release played on my non-region free R1 DVD player. maybe CJ made the DVD region free.
anyway, i think i prefer this release as well, because DVD-RB with CCE can retain detail wonderfully and i like DTS. if you want the assurance that the video is as good as it can be, and you don't mind DD, then the CJ release is for you.

you CAN rip a movie and not make it region free, but i realize the source is R4 (as it says in the NFO) but if the rip is region free, what difference does it make? is the R1 version better quality?

I like this rip, good job from emerald,
The menu is great and video it's fine for me
V - 9
A - 10
M - 8
Its a nice rip, and included some extras, which are not in the CJ rip. And the menu is nicer, but that doesn't matter.
I do prefer DTS when I can get it.

Give me DTS over beter videoquality. This release has DTS-ES. Sounds wonderful. And 3.3 mb voor video is more than enough for me. Looks stil great.

Thanks Emerald.
does this version have the 3 alt. endings at the end. I know the CJ one didnt.
DTS rules (but scrap the 5.1 usually), the video looks fine, and R4 releases are never as good as R1. Period.
There are a few reasons i hate R4's, most notably crappy menus, sub par video quality (even untouched), and sometimes even the 5.1 mix sounds different than the R1 mix (ie: dynamic range, low end, quiet centre channel, etc). I get R4's usually when its the first DVD-Rip of the flick, but in Xvid format, then wait for an R1 DVDR within the coming weeks.

You cant beat DTS over 5.1 any time.
why does the extra/alternate endings not work?
