Looks pretty good
No cam/ts will likely do this justice. I saw this at the theatre on Friday and it's a definite movie to see on the big screen with a great sound system.
I wouldn't bother with this, although it's great the choice is out there obviously.
Before you see this movie.. you absolutely MUST see the movie "INFERNAL AFFAIRS". Its an Asian movie, so get ready for subtitles, but its great. I see a lot of similarities between these two movies, but you be the judge.
** And since when is Scorsese doing remakes???!!! **
LoL, of course you see similarities between the movies. Scorcese bought the rights to Infernal Affairs. The Departed is the remake. Although he has added in bits from Infernal affairs 2 and 3 as well.

***Since when is he doing remakes? Since he remade Infernal affairs. Surely this cant be news to you though, its been widespread for ages
Here is a link with some info from way back. Nicholson helped rewrite the 'Infernal' script

Well.. I thought I would enlighten those moviegoers that are less on top of things than you or I.
...i think youll find those 'less on top of things' people, usually dont really care if its a remake
i think its kind of silly for people to keep calling this film brilliant, like its a massive achievement for hollywood/scorsesie (sp)... he took an allready established masterpiece and used it as his visual blueprint, so why wouldnt it be brilliant.... its like the kid taking all the praise for his science fair project, that his daddy made for him...
I think its more of a case of those not on top of things not knowing its a remake.
Infernal affairs is a classic in the right circles. The entire trilogy is fantastic so its no surprise that it was remade, and I guess the fact scorsece has done it does it justice.
But your right, it isnt a fantastic achievement to make it a good film. So I do wish people would stop saying things like "he has done it again!!!!", cause he hasnt really.
