Thats why its a screener. Have'nt seen any black/white sections yet.
Just the watermark.

Posted by pedantics on 10-14-2006 12:25 PM:

good dvdscr, with the usual traits - there are frequent "property of" messages and b&w scenes. you know the deal.

will do til retail. that's got to be hitting soon yeah?

p.s. this is a fucking amazing movie if you haven't seen it yet.

9/9/15

first b&w scene (with scroller) is at 10:01 - pretty hard to miss, since it's before the first "property of" message.

wow

Excellent Rls, I'll take watermarks & black/white screens in a screener over an entire film recorded with a cam and bad to mediocre audio any day.

Excellent rls. picture quality is very good. Sound is right on as well.

Smile Am I having a flashback

Good 1 cd rip (little more bitrate needed but 2cd woulda been overkill)... Big ol' anoying text.. B&W scenes seemed extra long.. didn't notice any problems with audio.. the ficodvd is a little better looking... only reason I'm commenting on this version is because I've been on an xvid rampage for a buddy and threw this and 5 more vids on a dvd.. (my stand will always be have dvdr source if avail, $wise it's just logical)..

V-8
A-8.7
M-9 (trippy anywhichway)

What's up with those ending credits and those names... what drugs were they doing??

Re: Am I having a flashback

excellent film, just finished watching and created a profile on VCD quality to say how good it is! watch it now

v - 9
A - 10
M - 10

only annoying thing is the picture goes black and white and messages are plastered all over the screen about renting or buying this copy, but what can you expect when you get a film this early and with this amazing quality.

not sure what drugs tehy took, i would imagine crack/crystal meth, pretty nasty shit and causes a hell of a lot of needless deaths

video: 8. the black-and-white switching and all the other usual copyright stuff is annoying, but that's the way with these promotional screeners, it's always the same

audio:10, dvd quality

movie: 10. very original and intelligent, revolutionary animation techique, never seen anything like this before. Great acting by Reeves, Winona and Downey Jr. a must-see

i wouldnt say it was original seeing as its a movie version of a book, and the animation wasnt that special, you can do those effects in photoshop, but even still it is a dam good film and very well done
