From the sample, video and audio look pretty good.

The NFO is messed up, looks like they have used the Snakes on a Plane NFO and forgot to change the plot to that of The Departed!

Grabbing the full release right now.

out of sync on cd 2 aswell near the end.

Don't flame me for this, but why do they release these when they know the audio is out of sync.?. Surely they would be better off fixing any problems and then releasing it.

That's nice.

Washed out pic, bit blocky in places and sync issues.

Not great but the best release yet.

Saw this in the cinema, great movie.

6/5

this is definetly no TC, it looks like a cleaned up ts with lots of cropping, audio goes out of sync a couple of times as well.

I wish they stopped whining. It took them long enough to sync audio to that Russian TC.
One would expect a flawless release considering the amount of time they took, but there are still some sync issues.
They take a shit on some of the other groups, well, hey're entitled to it. But in that case: make sure your own releases are okay!!
This isn't. Sync issues.
Moreover, one could ask himself which groups take more risk/effort:
those who cam themselves, or those who simply sync audio (which is fairly easy to get) to an image from an other group (Russian)?

This really does look like a TC, a proper TC, not these Russian DVD's that have been getting passed of as TC's the last month or so.

Admitedly i have saw better true TC's but this is nice enough, it is very washed out looking, and does block quite bad for no apparent reason, wonder if thats more a XviD encoding thing, hopefully there is a DVDR from this source.

Sync thing is a pain and the fact its not constant is harder to fix without watching it all, but ive heard much worse.

7/6/?

Edit, scanning through it alot there, and maybe not so sure now, the end credits are so overly white, its messed up looking, and the dont quite look as centred as they should do, also it doesnt have all of the credits, just maybe 90secs or so.
Pic quality looks too good to be a TS, so not sure, but dont really care anyway, this is good enough to watch, so its all good.

this ain't no tc,cropped, washed out, sync issues, also imdb say's its 152mins, this is only 140mins,so is it missing 12mins, if it was a true tc there wouldn't be all these faults.

video =8, great, better if you tweak it yerself with colour saturation

audio = 5 - loud n clear but sync issues as stated, its bearable but damn lazy ass syncer, would have taken 10 mins to fix!

movie = 7 - decent gangsta flick, scorsese knows his shit.

not bad rls
very quick tc
sync issues slight , pic not best tc but watchable easy!

This might be a TC, might not be, no definite proof yet, but those faults are nothing to do with that

A TC will come out washed out if its a poor quality machine or its not been setup correctly.
Its 140mins cause its PAL which runs at 1fps faster, 152mins ends up being about 145ish mins, its also missing most of the credits, which more than likely accounts for the other 5 or so minutes.
The Sync issues are always gonna be a problem on TC's these days as the audio is always from a diff source and sometimes differnt versions, and also cause DTS discs cant be used these days.
And after watching 40mins worth and flicking through CD2, i can't find any signs of excess cropping, and wont know unless i see a retail DVD of it, to compare, and see if it wasnt filmed like that.

Great

This is a TC in my opinion. not the best but a TC!
No arguing though this is the one to grab, slight sync issues as stated, gets a bit blocky.. nothing too shout about!

V: 8
A: 9
M: 10 superb

rated as telecine, watched all of movie on pc as could not wait to convert to DVD-r doing it now!

This is NOT a TC.

It's a mislabeled TS. It's cropped and has all the signs of a TS. Furthermore, the entire ending credits are not intact- another hallmark sign of a TS. Anyone who says it's a TC needs to go back and look at some of the recent Russian TC's like "The Covenant" or "You, Me, and Dupree."

It's definitely the best OVERALL release out there, but it's no telecine. The audio is good. I didn't see the sync issues a few others saw.

Rating:

Video: 4 (as a TC)
Audio: 8
Movie: 10

p.s. yet another mislabeled release form PUKKA. this release group doesn't know its ass from a hole in the wall.

FPS stands for Frames per second. Hate to tear up your hypothesis, but it's complete bullocks.

Took a better look at it, and must say I'm also beginning to doubt if it truely is a TC.
In case it really is a mislabled TS, the leet nfo is just plain stupid.
