This is the low quality version of the release on torrentleech and newsgroups. Wait for someone who knows WTF they are doing and can do better then a one click app and 2000k video bitrate.

thanks but no thanks... ima hold off on this one and wait for a REAL group to release it...
Video-6
Audio-9
Movie-10
I snagged 1 rar and watched it. No thanks. Why in the hell didn't they just release it as a DVD9 if they don't know how to do it right? At least the rest of us could have made our own decision on how to rip it.

?
I'm agree. I'm happy with a DVD9 and rebuilding it myself. That would be so much better than a 1-click app on a movie of this length. I know the saying says that beggars can't be choosers., but I ain't beggin for a crap release.
unfortunately its the best only one yet will have to do till scene kicks one out
I would on the whole agree. Although if you do watch it, it's not too bad. Kids never moved for 2 1/2 hours while watching it.
Video 6 - Some pixaliation in parts of the movie + a Jerky couple of minutes around the 52 minute mark.
Audio 8 - Sounded fine to me.
Movie 8 - Better then the last one.
Well I was desperate for something to watch, I watched this on a v large projector based system with 5.1. It was acceptable, yes I know it could be better but better was not available. Some pixelisation evident at two points in the movie.

M8 - and now waiting for the next installment
It's just fine!
What are you guys complaining about?
This release is 6 weeks before retail, and it looks great!
Keep in mind this is a DVD5, and NOT a DVD9, so if you expect better quality on a 2½hr movie, I suggest waiting for a DVD9, or even BUYING the retail DVD when it comes out (yes, some movies ARE worth buying).
These comments remind me of the DVDscr release of King Kong, which I felt was also great quality for a 3hr movie, yet people could only complain over a low bitrate! Sorry, I'm going off-topic here.
Anyways, props to MORPHiNE.
Never heard of 'em, but a damn fine job on this release.

A real shame...
If they had access to the DVD9, then why not post that?
It would've been a thankful post - but as it is, it looks like they DVDshrink'ed it.
Oh well.......
This is not a keeper, unless you're not too bothered about picture quality & loads of big square pixels are your 'thing'!
On the plus side, this release does have ALL 4 language tracks - English, spanish, directors commentary & another language that im not too sure about. (if you can call that a 'plus')

Rip 3 (too much data for a DVD5)
it looks pretty bad on vlc previewing it....HOWEVER on my LCD i had no problem with the picture or sound.
Thanks for the video, very nice and free.
yes it does go ropey on 52 mins for what 2 secs and its more like a v good xvid than a dvdr. but overall not as bad as some make out.

Edit: Didnt see the nuke notice from above... however the reasoning is different.

Dvdshrink or whatever, if you don't do it right it doesn't matter.
Any 2hr plus release is going to suffer. Be that as it may what should have happened is to cut the directors commentary, and all non-english audio...DOH! could have used the extra 950mb for the movie.
Besides I don't think they Dvdshrinked it, because the menu item's are jacked. That sounds like a hand job...pun intended
Overall the quality is very good, pixelatoin and audio sync issues aside!

I don't know why, when it comes to these big movies. They don't just releas the DVD 9. The disks used to be expensive, but not anymore. Granted it is a much larger download, but who cares when it comes to these blockbuster movies.

Hey its free, but strip the crap out and its only 2.8GB,there was lots of room for quality. A dvd9 or movie only would have been a better choise of rip. Audio scores low causes thereis to many, again sacrificing video quality.
