100mbit into multi-t3's baby!

the site is now on a 100mbit connection into multiple t3's.. awe yeah.. plus its hosted on a new dual 1.2ghz p3 with 2 gig's of ram and a 80 gig raid 5 array.. heh now its HELLA fast!

Haha, damn man. My site (thugnetwork.net) when it was up was goin for $2,000 a month for bandwith charges, mainly because of the adverstising I did off here for everything I supplied on my site.

The bill reached $2,500 in the first month and I go, "Fuck this man, I'm not paying." So without a word said, ProHosters shut down my site and said "Ok". Haha, So I just got out of $2,500 debt free, it was weird.

But I'm lookin to get it back up. But for the guys at VCD-Q; Very nice job. Very nice.

Shit, it was unbelievable. I had like 10 movies hosted on my site for download, the one that fuckin ripped my bandwith was when I had LOTR on there, 1.3 gb Scr I think, I'm not sure what it was.

But by the end of the month I think I had passed like 575gb? It was just way too fuckin much for me to handle.

Yea, I know. But even in their disclaimer when you signed up, it said there was nothing preventing you from uploading anything you want except for CP. So either way, there's no way they could have held it against me, their fault, their servers. Anyways, I had my own disclaimer on my site saying everything was hosted on ProHoster servers, haha, I would have cornered those bitches either way

sorry to say... but you'd have been fucked either way, in their disclaimer I am sure it said, All matieral is of your accord, nothing you upload is the responsibility of "webhost" so, you'd have been fucked.

Yea, I know. But I figured why not try? Lol, I mean, I liked what I did, becuase there was no other site out there that did it, maybe I was just stupid? Who knows', I just liked the *huge* response I got from people, and that my site was more than just movie downloads. I have actual updates and shit, such as a regular site, you could have tried to compare it to the rants of StileProject, and the cam looks of HalfHonk...

But I didn't specialize the site just for movies, I never even said taht's what the site was about. I wanted the site to be about what I thought was interesting or just needed shit to do with my 26.4k connection, I invested alot of my time into that site... I didn't expect it to last long once I saw how my hits were going, because I knew that I wasn't going to have enough money to pay for the bandwith. So if anyone's willin to host a very expert webmaster, e-mail me Lol, I'll probably overload your server with bandwith though, once the word gets' out I'm back up, Haha...

But I could make an IRC channel, I'm on there enough anyway. (It's actually minimized right now). Anyone got any suggestions?

Now this is smart, were discusing the launch of illegal server sites that will contain piracy. Be sure to post the link everywhere, or make it "impossible" for the feds to find out by discussing this via PM, lol...
