Agreed. This is just a cut down version of a perfectly good NTSC release which exists already. If anything, the choppy editing makes the film seem longer, not shorter.

Well, some people like to have R1 copies so this is perfect for them since the CJ extended version wasnt. I wish this version would have come out before the CJ release to save me that extra 25 minutes of crap from an already boring movie.

There's no region-coding on either and they're both NTSC english-language editions so it makes no difference. Also, if it's so boring, why are you bothering to get it in the first place?

Who said I was getting it? I based my rating on the sample vob. I dont think I could sit through this movie again. And it doesnt matter if its region-free or not, a lot of people want the American R1 release for their collections.

Not yet and even when there is it will be no different from the existing R4 NTSC release.

Sample vob is prolly all you'll see. All the rars are corrupt.

Edit: the rar corruption is fixable if one wants to spend a while.

Color and quality pretty nice. No errors or glitchies noticeable in the first hour.

Shame they couldn't alter the menu after they stripped the previews.

Film could have been much better cast, IMHO, but Hanks had his fingerprints all over the money.
