Broken!

Does not play on my Sony standalone, and this is a unit that plays everything thrown at it.

Don't play on my Sony either but plays on my other crappy player ALTHOUGH it does take ages 'til it gets to the menu ( leaves everything else out ).

That's what happens when you blank all the titles before the menu without altering navigation. For the same reason, there are often long pauses after hitting the play button. Most scene groups don't bother with navigation.

There's no complaining about the video and audio. I like extras but most scene groups are in too much of a hurry to even consider extras.

so, are there any patches or a way to fix this issue yet?

Posted by B1NG0 on 12-01-2006 08:25 PM:

yep, it defo makes coasters.
I stripped the menus & made it movie only - something I dont usually like to do, but in this case I let it pass!
(plus i just could'nt be arsed to fook around with it too, lol )

Doesn't work on my Toshiba dvd player either......

Discs is read and the start-up screen for the vd player appears and begins to shudder for a while. Did manage to get to the menu by pressing menu/FF a lot though. Tried to play the movie and nothing but a black screen with no playback.

Think I'll wait for a better version which should be pretty much any other release by the look of this one.....

No probs at all here with this release.
Tried it on 4 separate payers & each time it played without a problem.
Video & audio were fine, just a shame the movie itself was crap, hehe.

Download Vobblanker.

Mount this with Daemon Tools and open the video ts file with Vobblanker. Dont touch any of the settings and just select where you want it saved. Now hit the process button, after about 5 minutes your done.

This will now open up in DVDShrink without any problems.

This will also work for any other problematic files Shrink complains about.

both my players handled it ok (Toshiba HD-A1 & Oppo DV971H) although there is a bit of a stutter before the menu.

video and audio are both very nice.
