ok i think the date for the oscar noms this year in jan 23.and the telecast is feb 25.


so we get a shorter 'for your consideration' period this year. how do you think this going to effect uh..us downloaders.... ??? the type /and number of 'releases' we get etc....???

yeah once again i'm asking you to clue in the novice...

it looks like -HLS and -BABIES still have their award screener hook up so we should still see the same amount of screeners, there are less films being given an oscar push so we might see less because of that, if you want to know what screeners are being sent out check out ken rudolph's movie page, the nets favorite oscar judge. He lists all screeners and types as he gets them.

i don't know seems to me if the 'season' is longer you get oscar screeners of movies that have *no chance* of getting a nom....


also wonder if a shorter 'season' will equal more rushed encodes ???? etc...

we will see....
