Pretty much the same video quality as Asteroids. Sound is nowhere near as bassy as Asteroids and is also quite tinny, though much clearer.

I personally believe that the ASTEROiDS release was alot better than this. the Pukka audio is very tinny but audible. The last few minutes of the movie are blocky and unbearable.

Pic is the same but blurry during end credits. Dupe of ASTEROIDS repack fixed most issues with audio going in and out. Besides this movie is best viewed with a 12 pack of beer, some weed and some friends. Its NOT an action film people.

PROPS to ASTEROiDS on winning this race.Now if you could manage to get more consistent audio. We wouldnt have to listen to Pukka try to rule the SCENE

watched all of this thru xbmc earlier

video -

excellent until the final 10 minutes when it turns into what looks like a phone cam (how the fuck do you manage that?)




audio -

sounded shit on my hifi but through the tv it was fine. there is about 15 mins in the middle where its out of sync, but gets corrected again.

other than the blockiness at the end, i think the PUKKA release looks a tad better. but because of the blockiness, i used the ASTEROiDS video with the PUKKA audio. the volume in the ASTEROiDS release was VERY inconsistent and found it annoying. both releases are the exact same length, so the audio from the PUKKA release will work with the ASTEROiDS release.

ok checked out every copy now and gotta say this for me will do..
ok sound lifeless(i think it is direct?sure it is)and no major bad sync issues , picture is mint apart from last couple of mins where it blocks up a bit(mostly on end credits and not enough to ruin it)
so stuff the race and do it right is my opinion at the end of it all
yes we want quick who doesnt but by the time i messed around with the quick copies this was available and watchable !

this is definitely the best rls out... much better audio than the asteroids rls, and for some reason, to me , looks like better video

Watched the full release this morning........

Sound goes from great to ok after first few seconds (obviously where the original R5 sound cuts over to the line audio)

Sound is a bit muffled but not bad at all, goes out of sync briefly when he is sitting with the family having dinner but corrects within minutes.

Last minute or so is very blocky, looks like video from VCD cam has been cut in for some reason, doesn't waste the film at all.

this is better than asteroids version because you can actually hear the frigging thing! So the proper reason was valid & this shouldnt be nuked, asteroids version should be nuked coz it sounds like some twat is constantly turning it up & down! you miss dialogue in the AST version, pretty crucial for a comedy.

well I have to agree with vurtX, out of the two copies, this is the version i converted onto dvd. Not perfect, but the better of the two copies.

After Mixing the Asteroids Video, and fixing up the Pukka Audio, I can fully give the TC release a 10 on all boards.

V - 9 (last minute is fucked)
A - 7 (seems ok ,bit muffled)
M - 9 (funny ,but nothing out of ordinary)
