Is this definitely the extended cut?

Is this definitely the extended cut? I thought the extended cut was supposed to open with a new animated sequence, set in Kuwait. This doesn't.

This is the Extended Cut but I was also wondering the same thing regarding the extended Kuwait intro as it's definitely missing from this particular rip. I was wondering if perhaps the DVD gives you the option of watching the film with or without the extended intro sequence and after doing a search on Amazon and thumbing through a few reviews, low and behold

So yah, unfortunately this rip of the Extended Cut DOES NOT include the animated and extended Kuwait intro. Other than that all of the other additional scenes and the additional subplot dealing with Castle and Jimmy Weeks is included in this cut. This is by all accounts the Extended Cut however Fragment did not include the extended intro in this particular rip so those looking for a complete Extended Cut are going to be a bit disappointed. Here's hoping someone else rips this film with the extended intro sometime in the near future.

Yeah I was disappointed aswell, but hey maybe we'll get a DVDR release with that extra included. Has a DVDR been released yet of the extended cut?

On to the release.

7 It was pretty decent and not as bad as some people made it out to be.
