Celebrity Big Brother 5
EDIT: Sorry total fuck up.. its Celebrity Big Brother 5 (NOT 4)
(like it matters anyway)
Now the 'normal' Big Brother with a bunch of nobodies who most end up z-list and just piss me off for months after its finished,
Ain't my cuppa tea....
but the last 2 Celebrity Big Brothers have been quite interesting.
naturally there's a few 'fillers' or 'so called' Celebrities.
But the last CBB had attracted a housemate who was head of a political party here in the UK.
Also a well known TV presenter who turned out to be gay
and recently cleared from killing another dude who was found dead in his pool.
anyways, it was interesting car crash tv for me..
but this CBB4 (starting in a few days) has attracted a few more 'faces' i wouldn't mind seeing in a semi 'normal' environment
basically without a PR rep in their ear telling em what to say.
sure i bet a few are briefed before going in.
but when the arguments start and they let there guard down.... hubba hubba
here's some of the list for this CBB...
Starsky and Hutch star Paul Michael-Glazer
A-Team actor Dirk Benedict (face)
former Miss Great Britain Danielle Lloyd ( a filller i reckon)
Jackson Five member Jermaine Jackson
former Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins
TV presenter-cum-politician Robert Kilroy-Silk
former child prodigy Lauren Harries
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty
Anyone from the UK will know that Robert Kilroy-Silk has some pretty OUT THERE views
on things like immigration and shit like that
also Justin Hawkins comes across as very liberal (i could be wrong) but these two alone should make some good TV.
the others... hummmm we shall see.
anyone who didn't watch the last CBB wont 'get' what I'm on about
also anyone who thinks I'm talking about 'regular' big brother.. This is totally different.
To the US forum members out there.
only comparison i can think of would be like
George W bush and Dwaggy (amongst others) locked in a house for a few weeks with 24hour filming going out live on TV.

"A-Team actor Dirk Benedict (face)"
Sweet! Ledgend.
robert kilroy silk
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
where u see that list, the one i seen has.................
David Hasselhoff
Shilpa Shetty
Ian "H" Watkins
Newspapers have speculated that Jade Goody, who found fame in the traditional version of Big Brother four years ago, will also join the celebrity show.
She would be a "surprise" addition at some point after its launch.
Her mother, her partner and her grandparents will enter the house, the reports claimed.
So far Channel 4 has given some clues about the contestants, saying that one person rates Baywatch - Hasselhoff's former show - as their favourite TV programme.
Another is an expert fly-fisher, while two others have attended a dance school and a convent respectively.
One is obsessed with Formula 1 motor racing, another still lives with her mother, while two of the celebrities have servants, according to the broadcaster.
I cant wait, last years c.b.b is going to be pretty hard to beat

Perma tanned Kilroy Silk would get my vote. I don't do phone votes though, neither do most sensible people. This will be why he won't win.
P.S I would love to see Kilroy beat Lauren Harries to within an inch of the shims life, now that would be real TV gold.
sigh another bunch of boring c listers
so disappointing.
Actual list.
Danielle Lloyd (Got shagged by a footballer)
Jermaine Jackson (new age muslim)
Leo Sayer (big haired singer)
Jo O'Meara (Sclub7 biatch)
Ken Russell (director and looking like he has alzheimer's )
Ian "H"Watkins (singer/steps poofta)
Shilpa Shetty (bollywood some1, sexeh lady)
Cleo Rocos (from 80's show Kenny Everet)
Dirk Benedictt (Faceman, woooohooo)
Carole Malone (red top columnist)
Donny Tourette (punk singer) << gonna walk
Got a few right, got a few wrong (or premature)
(NO) Starsky and Hutch star Paul Michael-Glazer
(YES) A-Team actor Dirk Benedict (face)
(YES) former Miss Great Britain Danielle Lloyd ( a filler i reckon)
(YES) Jackson Five member Jermaine Jackson
(NO) former Darkness front-man Justin Hawkins
(NO) TV presenter-cum-politician Robert Kilroy-Silk
(NO) former child prodigy Lauren Harries
(YES) Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty

Why does anyone care about this utter shit?
Face gets my pseudo-vote.
Big Brother = cheap mindless drivel created by TV savvy geniuses who know how much cheaper it is to recycle has-beens in fly-on-the wall crap than to create real, scripted, thought out, and planned entertainment.
Sad cuntastic "entertainment" for sad cunts that degrades the quality of once great TV. The principle reason why someone like myself no longer watches TV.
(And funnily enough the same cunts that watch this shit will then 10 minutes later lament about how British comedy/drama/TV in general is no longer as good as it once was. CAPITAL 'C' CUNTS!)
My virtual vote goes to james harries , to be first to get biatch-slapped

Sorry.... too busy staring at these two things

Quite amussing that peps that show so much disgust/hate towards the show click and post on a thread called " Celebrity Big Brother 5" obviously has a place in their heart or are so bored they just need to troll forums. It's funny whatever their reasons.
So what if it's car crash TV it's funny to watch "celebs" making fools of themselves.

I watched it last night and it does look like it's going to be pretty good.
I managed to catch some of the other celeb big brothers in the past.
I think I'll try and watch this one.

Hexagonaly my point entirely almost :S.
not only do they click the link, but they also read the posts and feel the need to hit the reply lol.
quote:No, I'm not (necessarily) better. I'm just a little more demanding about what constitutes entertainment...in much the same way some would enjoy going through their neighbours trash more than others would.

I do actually agree with what you said but can't hide a passing interest in the freak show that is Big brother.
quote:No, no, I only ever post in threads about things I like and things I'm indifferent to. I just got bored of waiting for a thread about cute puppies, dream holidays and ice cream. Certainly coming from someone who'd never post a negative opinion on anything makes that a supremely valid comment
