The best news since sliced bread

Ok, summing that article up, Alejandro Jodorowsky is going to be releasing on dvd: The Holy Mountain, El Topo and Fando y Lis, all completely remastered by him. Oh, and did I mention that El Topo will be returning to theaters? On top of all that, hes making a new movie called King Shots. *SQUEALS LIKE LITTLE PIG* This is the best news ive heard in a while. I'm not sure if anyone here is familiar with his work, but its the greatest.

Not a fan.

Some of the visuals are amazing, the beginning of The Holy Mountain in particular, but I can't sit through 2hrs of obviously related scene without knowing what the fuck is going on and why. El Topo is the same. Sante Sangre retains the weirdness but is at least understandable. (Not seen Fando y Lis.)

Certainly an experience watching them once, but I wouldn't want or need to own them...doubt I'll ever watch them again.
