The Japanese speaking parts don't contain subtitles.

V: 9 - Near perfect quality.
A: 9
M: ? - I have yet to watch as I would like confirmation from more users as to weather there are English subtitles missing for the Japanese language scenes (as the previous post had stated).

I'll add a bit to my previous post:

I've read another report that suggest the few scenes that don't include English subs for Japanese speaking parts may actually be intentional, unnecessary, and non-detrimental to understanding the film. Someone who watched the film all the way through should give a better idea if this is really a faulty release.

Stand alone Play

Takes for ever to start up after inserting the dvd about a minute. Then the menu starts. After pushing play takes about 15 seconds for the movie to start. Scream still has yet to figure out how to remove warning and remap so there isnt a delay. Proper my ass.

just my 2 cents

Apex still plays anything
