Can you be more specific with regards to what sites you're visiting (if they're legal) and what the messages are? It could simply be a codec issue, although I have no idea what the codec situation on Vista is like.

I go to a site that has streaming video, any site that does, I believe Myspace does. When I click on a video to watch where the video should be a puzzle piece appears that says, "Click here to download plug-in." Or something similar. And one I click on it to get it it says, "No valid plug-in available." With button reading 'manual'. When I click manual it comes up with the Windows Media 11 site. I tried clicking the Windows Media 11 link and it said that I already have the newest version. Is Windows Media Player 11 the default player or can that be changed?
