3rd times the charm. I never paid attention to this one when it came out, and was pleasantly surprised.

A/9 just fine AC3 wasn't needed, this is no action flick
M/7 EDIT: After watching I enjoyed this clever quiet film a lot, Will Ferrell,was remarkably understated ,i was impressed...i had to give a 7 tho as i felt the plot kind of fell apart in the last hlf hr...and headed for the standard "Hollywood" ending

been waiting for this Will Ferrell cracks me up,will be interesting to see him in a diff role.

glad i had waited and avoided the two previous nukes lol

Can't speak of the other versions, since I didn't DL, but this version is a great release.

Flawless on all counts throughout the 2CDs ,part from unneeded AC3.

V - 9 ,good encode
A - 9 , AC3 was a bit too much for simple dialogues (would prefer higher video bitrate with mp3)
M - 9 ,great flick , Ferrell goes through a "Truman Show" transformation for an actor.

V: 9 - Seemed a little grainy at times? Maybe it was just me
A: 10 - AC3 is perfect for me
M: ?

After converting to DVDR:

V: 9-Not shabby
A: 9-Was AC3 honestly necessary? It's still good but the Smokin' Aces screener could have used it but, I guess that wasn't in AC3, but still the sound is good on this release and in sync from what I could tell.
M: 9-An original and good movie with Ferrell's best performance ever (besides Anchorman, but that doesn't count).

This version should be nuked too... theres dialog missing right at the cd split point

One of the most flawless rips in history, and a great movie to boot.

screenplay (what a great story)
performances (Ferell is excellent)
Decors (beautiful settings)
Camerawork

agree with most others views - Will Ferrell redeems himself a bit with this one ... much better than Talladega Nights and Anchorman.
