I may ask Dwags create sub-sections for each console manufacturer because I'm wanting to shove a rocket up this part of the forum's arse.

With that in mind, I'm inviting you ladies to submit reviews of games on the various systems...

Here's what you do:

1. Create a thread but "tag" the subject line with the common abbreviation for that console - NDS, GC, Wii, XBox, 360, PS2, PS3, PSP etc etc.

So a typical review thread would look like "Wii: Warioware Smooth Moves" or similar.

2. Write the review! Use paragraphs and grammar (unless you're a mong) and make it a reasonable length without going apeshit. Try to cover the main aspects of the game such as Gameplay, Graphics, Audio, Online play and overall impressions. Provide scores at the end of the review. Also state if you're playing the original or a "backup" if it's a backup, which release was it and were there any problems (DON'T provide info on circumventing protections)?

Am I over complicating this or is it over simplified? Do you give a fuck about forum members "real world" reviews or do you prefer IGN? Either way I don't give a monkeys cunt, I just want to talk about my games

A rocket is a good idea. How shall the scoring be done?

However you want, pretty much... Just make sure you cover the main areas: Gameplay, graphics, audio, controls, online options, longevity etc etc and do a summary paragraph at the end. If you like scores (like me) then give scores - I went with "out of 10" but it's only a personal preference.

There is no right way to write a review in this section IMHO, just lots of fucking wrong ways

Have a look at my Excite Truck review for what I had in mind but it's pretty much intended for honest reviews, with a sense of humour and real-world comments like "It sucks arse with the blahblah modchip" see? In fact, if their reviews weren't shite and stank of desperation I'd say videogamessuck.com was a good place to start - they have the right idea but its executed by fuckwits

jesus, almost every single poster in this thread is banned! Looks like I'llbe walking on eggshells. But anyway, yeah id love to give my input on games or throw a review here and there if anyone needs it. Except a PS3 review because that console is ass. I'd rather use that money and buy a new Mercedes.
