This is based on the sample:

V7.5 decent cam, kinda washed out but it's great anyway

edit: in some scenes in planet terror it's really dark, these get a 5, the rest is good, audio rating stays the same

A6.5 in the sample you can hear laughing, it's not so bad that you can't hear anything else though. it's nice and loud, not to mention it's echoy. quite understandable anyway.

Agree. From rars and sample. For a first rlse very watchable. Even has fairly full sound. Coming down now and will view. Big thanks to the group. Well done.

7.5/7/? Expect it to be a 9 though.

From the sample for this release:

7/6/?

I can't wait any longer, though, so I'll grab the repack and watch it since a movie like this doesn't need to look pristine. It's already scratched on purpose to look like an old grindhouse exploitation movie.

the repack, with correct ar, really is a lot tighter then we are used to, but seeing as this movie isnt getting released anywhere else anytime soon, this will be the one to watch. watch it AFTER you go to the theaters, or it will be ruined, but its a nice touch for the second viewing right when you get home.

and I scream at the sky
Every day I ask myself why?
So much pain pouring
from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly

Watched it and enjoyed it, a decent release

7/ few heads here and there overcropped a little, overall nice
7/hollow a few laughs but clear
7/ Liked the 1st half better

if you dont go see this in the theater (preferably while its still packed) you are cheating yourself and you're also not "in" on the entire idea of grindhouse cinema.

but then again i realized watching cams and ts's was the lamest way to watch shit about 3 years ago. patience and a good dvdrip ftw.

seriously tho..fuckin pay the reasonable price (in this case) for 2 flicks.. an intermission of laughs and a fresh retro theater experience.

CAMS ALWAYS SUCK LOLRZ

1 / 1 / 10

To be honest the AR looks worse to me in the repack than it did in the original, to my eyes it probably needs to be somewhere in between.

You make a good point and I can see where the Mod’s coming from too. The way I see it most people know or should know (the info is readily available) the basic differences between a Cam vs. a TS vs. a TC vs. a DVDRIP vs. a DVDSCREENER vs. an R5 ad nausea. If I haven’t had time to see samples and/or RARS I often will view a few posts if available to determine if it’s worth the effort. Just complaining because of the type of release it is doesn’t do much for me. Or I expect for others either.

:: Mod Edit: Sigh, enough already. Anyone like "six, six, six" that has suggestions for mods on how to do their jobs correctly, feel free to yell at your screen. (edit not directed at jicjak) ::

Pretty decent for a cam, but it's missing the final shot of Death Proof right after Tarantio's credit... and I won't reveal what's in the final shot.

video-7
audio-7 (audience laughter can be heard sometimes)
movie-10 (needs to be seen in the theatres)

some times camera mans hand covers the screen and a small part after the credits is gone.
