Ozzy - Black Rain

Is almost as good as Ozzmosis and definitely worth the green.

I wouldn't go that far, but it's not bad.

It's the best cd since Ozzmosis.

Have to agree with ya Para. Glad to hear his sound is more back to his stuff from the 90's (which isn't neccessary his best stuff ever, but still damn good).

Well it does beat the shit out of No rest for the Wicked, and the Ultimate Sin. I just didn't care for those cd's.

no i havent...but bassically...i lost my taste for anything new(er) from any old bands i used to listen to...i dont like the productions that bands get nowadays...too polished and overproduced now...and i dont like zakks flashy guitar style either...i respect his abilities...but i like simpler bluesier playing...give me angus over any widdley widdley players

in hindsight....not really...but the music was better..,.and i had a more open mind when i was 12...so randy gets a pass cause he died before i started hating showoffs

i heard a live version of crazytrain that zakk did....he overplayed randy so much that it felt like an insult to him....that was randy and ozzys signiture song of that era...he shouldve copied it to a tee instead of trying to show that hes better..

if you guys really like randy...check out quiet riots 1st 2 lps...its got randy and the first ozzy bass player rudy sarzo ...i never heard em cause they were too rare when i wouldve cared

i didnt mean to turn this thread into a bash ozzy thread...i di have alot of respect for all musicians mentioned...i just lost my taste for them

...in summation...i dont listen to ozzy after sabbath much anymore...so when i do...itll...be one of the first 2 for nostolgias sake

I was just curious about your opinion and wanted to make sure I understood your previous post.

I have to agree that there are Zakk versions of Crazy Train that do not compliment Rhoads, but I have heard versions where Zakk hit it note for note.
