Rating as a VHS screener:

V - 8 edges of pixels are a lil bit blurry
A - 9 great audio, didnt watch the whole thing to check if it was all in sync, but its clear and loud
M - 6.. Just another Jim Carrey flick. He does better playing a comic role

v-8 fs and a bit dull, but very watchable
a-9 great for a screener
m-6 stick to the funny ones please, wooda made a great comedy

Kelnar,

I think you looked wrong. DVD isn't until july 24th NOT June. It'll be another month before we see the dvd. Mean time, it seems at least from sample good enough to watch until then.

Video isn't as bad as advertised here, but the FS is a downer. Still, since there has never been a release in English that was worth watching I'll take this.

V-8.5
A-8.5
M-7

Good VHS screener. SLight pixilation and clarity problems, but hey, its not a DVD source. Audio is good. No sync problems.
Opening and closing credits are widescreen, but entire film is Full Screen. Interesting movie. Definitely worth watching. No, this isn't my 23rd post. ;-)

CATBOX

V - 8

A - 8

M - 8.5

Aww I should have checked the posts here earlier. Then I would have known that it's FS

Skipped through the movie to see quality. So rates are merely based on the -few- scenes I saw

V: 8 looks good for a video screener
A: 9 Sound is crisp and clear
M: - I want to see the WS version, so I just wait for that

can you resize it to make it widescreen?

Acme,

It probably would look compressed. Forcing a movie into an unnatural AR usually does this. I wouldnt recommend it.

Pic 9
Sound 9
Film 8 Pleasant suprise from Carrey for me.

Much needed release thanks mVs. Great 1st gen Screener.

V: 7/8 (A little blurry, but it's from a VHSScr, what do we expect?)
A: 9
