recovering data

just today when i restarted my computer and opened my folder which is on my desktop, everything is gone and all i have left is my music folder. Can you let me know how i can find my other files? I had my appz, clean up appz etc

Im no gates, but try the search button in your start menu and do a search

If that doesnt work, then try system restoring to your latest back-up

or wait for a proper response

oh and sonic...try freeundodelete like zoidy says and scan your hard drive for anything that might have been deleted...things arent chucked out till you actually overwite on them...hope you havent saved anything lately
