[NUKED]-300.2006.READ.NFO.NTSC.DVDR-CuriousJotos/REASON-brazilian.menu_mislabeled.r4/

Just what ive seen on sites

Nuked or not, the quality of the video is not great, very grainy/noisy - but this maybe due to the source.

Though not totally 'awful', it'll do untill the R1 appears later on this month.

all in all,

if you read the NFO it clearly says..

R4
menu: span and portugal

only reason it should be nuked is cus it's not an R1.. and the title naming should say R4 NTSC

heh

Nuked?? Your crazy it clearly states "Read the NFO" because of the PPF fix.

The video Quality is Great for me..

Video- 8.5
Audio- 8
Movie- 9 Best movie since The Matrix!!!

No noise or grain on my copy other than what was intended by the director. I *think* I noticed some compression artefacts here and there? Sound effects are overdone and are often allowed to drown the dialogue but that's hardly the fault of the rip. Subs do work for anyone trying to follow the quieter passages.

The movie is "good" to look at and to listen to but is never really involving.

9/8/8

watched the movie twice already and didnt have any problems with it. if you want to see the movie now, get this. some people are just to picky.

I agree. This rip is fantastic on my standalone. I was too lazy to use the PPF fix so I dealt w/ the spanish menus. I didn't personally notice any artifacting.

Video: 9
Audio: 7.5 (because it's loud at times and quiet at times)
Movie: 8

I'd hardly call it a "patch", it's a short DOS-based programme which reconstructs the entire image file and takes quite a while to complete. The English menu is very nice though, contrary to what is suggested above, it doesn't fix any of the other problems with the disc. For that you need CJ's own PPF patch file cj-300-dvdr-menufix.ppf which really is a patch. Even this is only half a solution as when the movie ends it jumps to the Portugese extras menu which was previously disabled!

The fixes did at least save me from having to grab yet another 5GB so 5/10 for effort
