X-WAVE not bad DVD players, but must admit theres better stuff out there for half the price.

Had one, but MP3 playing system was nasty.....

what DVD machine do you have now and what do you think to it.

Posted by PSX23 on 03-01-2002 11:51 PM:

Don`t know if you are in US/UK.

Got a Naiko player (£99.95) which i`ve unlocked through remote - found that the NTSC - PAL conversion on the X-Wave I had wasn`t really that good.

Hence why I went for the new machine, which i`m really happy with.

I live in the uk .If you are in the uk where did you get your Naiko from m8 .My son might be intrested .You know what kids are like.

hey fellow birts

I have a Dansai for "this kind of thing" , its the same box as the Naiko (same price) but it doesn't have a built in DD5.1 decoder. No bit loss for me, cos i have a Sony 536 for playing DVDs and that does have one.

I got the Dansai in Tesco's, and i think u can still get the Naikos in Makro.

Yep, NAIKO was from Makro.

It`s a trade centre, so you might have problems getting in unless you are lucky and know someone who has a card

www.makro.co.uk

The Dansai is basically the same machine, but doesn`t look as nice!
