I just got finished watching it. It's from the retail DVD. No extras included except for French and Spanish subs. But it looks like the only other extras are previews.

V: 9 - It seemed like there was a greenish tint during most of the movie. I kept adjusting the color on my TV and it would look OK for awhile and then go back to the greenish tint. I don't know if this is the DVD, the way the movie was lit and shot, or something else.

A: 9.5 - DD 5.1 sounded fine on my home theater system.

M: 8 - A little two long at 2hr 30min. Not much violence is shown. It's more a look of a group of people involved with the case over a 15 or 20 year period. It's a good suspense movie but there's something about knowing the case was never solved that made it hard for me to handle the long running time. Still recommended though.

I saw this in theaters and it was shot that way...I did a quick skim through the chapters....seemed to be a pretty good rip.

I was afraid someone would accuse me of posting a spoiler
But it **IS** based on a true story. I read the Wikipedia summary
of the Zodiac after watching the movie and the movie covers just about everything in the Wikipedia entry.

lol, I was kidding anyways

I had a very rough idea what it was all about - but was'nt over familiar with the outcome.
I sat & watched it today & you're right about the 2hr 30min overstretch.
Its a long movie with an unfulfilling ending!
But how else could it have ended?
They could've shaved an hour off it & it would've still been an 'OK' movie..
