The Grindhouse????

What's happened with all the Grindhouse releases? We got a load of, let's face it, pretty crappy releases about 3 months ago but after that, nothing. No TC, No R5 and even the telesyncs were not much more than OK. Where did it vanish to? Dd the groups forget about it or is there something going on that I just know nothing about?

Quentin Tarantino pulled the plug on it. He has refused to allow it to be put on DVD, he has recalled all the reels from cinemas. Tarantino has refused to comment on the reasons for this and has since shunned the public eye. He was spotted recently, apparently shopping for lemons and melons, reporters noticed that he was walking very strangely, when they attempted to question him he threw lemons at them and shouted abuse before jumping in his Austin Allegro and speeding away.

Apparently a Unicorn with an erection visited him one evening and told him he must destroy all evidence of The Grindhouse. Stupidly he tried to ignore the Unicorn, thats when the Potatoe people arrived, they held down QUentin while the Unicorn bummed him, bumming him first with his erection, then with his horn. Quentin finally succumbed to this method of persuasion and The Grindhouse is no more.

The unicorn has the only remaining copy and not even Maven will mess with a horny Unicorn,

I'd also like to sample the GrindHouse experience but it doesn't look like its to be.

Word is that the two movies will be split for DVD release...don't know what will happen to the spoof trailers.

FUCK!
.

Yeah, someone needs to invent a way to put extra things onto DVD's. Drawing a blank here, any ideas?

i've seen it said that the first dvd release of the two might be vanilla discs.

I would usually agree but in this case Grindhouse hasn't been screened at U.K cinemas. In fact, I don't think it has had a theatrical release anywhere other than the United States but I could be wrong.

You're right, I should have caught an 8 hour flight from Europe to the USA and then found the nearest cinema.
