posting samples

Hi. I was wondering if there was a way for any users to post jpg samples of releases before the staff at vcdquality does it or is it reserved to staff members?

Thanks

Staff only I'm afraid.

Is it okay to post a sample image in a discussion thread, for example when a rival group claims a certain title does not have subtitles and I know for a fact it does?

I don't have a problem with this but can you host it at a image hosting site and simply link it? It saves bandwidth and doesn't piss off people who have shitty connections.

I check the .jpgs

They need to NOT reference any other site, especially sites where you can grab releases. This means in both the url AND on the actual .jpg as well.

I was obviously tired when I replied to the OP. Uploading of jpg samples to the site is staff only but we have no real issue with linking to an image (under the rules LOLobo has stated). Include it along with your review and everything's hunky dory.
