imdb's Plot Keywords are spoilers !

Just like the subject says,.


Imdb's plot keywords are spoiling movies for me.

Sure they don't give away the entire content of particular scenes, but they give enough away to spoil certain surprises.

I sat down and watched 'the crying game' on tv last night. My laptop wasn't too far away and I wanted to check imdb's rating. And after read through it, I also noticed one of the plot keywords to be 'penis'.

I instantly lol'ed to myself and thought,
''what does this bitch have a penis?'''

and it turns out she did, I wasn't too pissed cause it was a horrible movie to boot.


I'm not suggesting imdb should take away plot keywords from each movie listings, perhaps hide it under a different link.

has anyone else had this happen to them? or anyone else hate the crying game?

I was doing an IMDB crawl where I just hop from one actor/actress to another to see what they've been in and ended up at Tommy "Tiny" Lister (Deebo from Friday) who apparently had a role in Barb Wire and one of the plot keywords for that film is "vaginal electrodes".

Having never seen this film, is this a spoiler?

what pisses me off about imdb is when your watching a tv series and you see someone you know, you go to IMDB and it tells you how many episodes each person is in the tv show for, when I see the person im looking for is only in it for 4 episodes i know they are going to die. fuck off and die
