the stereo track is the original audio

this is incorrect. saw the film in a theater and the 5.1 sound mix was very well done. Using similar audio effects as the soundtrack in Mulholland Dr (with deep bass tones panning in from the rears, ect)

The camera has nothing to do with the sound mix, no one uses the built in mic anyways. Not to mention the 5.1 mix was created in post production... Learn about film production or GTFO

Can't say I'm bothered if the audio is 5.1 or 2.0, there's a lot of mumbling and only the Polish dialogue is subtitled. There are no English subs for the hard of hearing and as this is a VERY LOUD movie I preferred to listen to it through TV speakers.

Video is very good, you would not know it had been re-encoded unless you'd seen the original. There are no menu issues that I could find. Everything works as it should and all unused buttons have been disabled. This probably is about as good a rip as any DVD5 version could be.

Movie really drags for the first 70 mins or so but picks up a lot after that. The musical sequences are the best but I haven't a clue what the rest was all about?
