vista codec issue

is anyone else having problems using ffdshow running vista?
i have had numerous issues with nve,winavi,cce and even wmp with playback.. and changing some of my codec in and out have somewhat fixed random issues but its becoming a bother.

is there any true fully compatible vista codec set that doesnt have the feel of it being packaged by a 15yr old.

same probs here...I am starting to think it's a Vista driver problem with the sound or video cards.

It does include ffdshow. But its been tested on Vista, A friend of mine has it installed on his PC so I am sure it works

Isn't VLC Vista compatable? If so, why are you bothering with this shit?
