Awesome release. Quality is as expected for R5 LINE, so rated as R5:

V - 9
A - 7
M - 8

Confirmed the missing footage, quality is good overall though.

Very slight hum and hollow sound, but it's not *that* bad. Better than mic audio.

Not out of synch at all...not sure what the person above is talking about. It's 100% in synch.

Btw, I noticed an additional scene near the end that looks like missing footage. Right around 1hr41min he answers the phone and says "hello" and then it flashes to the girl, but then it cuts to him driving. something's missing there.......

Daft question , the faqs explains all the other types of releases , but what is a R5 release?

can anyone explain please.

Posted by cragllo on 08-23-2007 10:35 PM:

A R5 is a region 5 studio DVD release from Russia. To try and cut down on all those Russian telecines, but to be honest, I think its aided piracy more then its reduced. Generally the same quality as a telecine if not better, Audio is usually of telesync quality.

V - 9 (It's a typical R5)
A - 7 (a bit hollow, but decent)
M - 8 (Ain't watched yet, my mum wants it though)
