What is the purpose of the rated movies?

I wanted to know as the topic states, what is the reason behind posting reviews of specific people uploading movies, then rating it, and not being able to know where to view the video that he/she rated? Not trying to be a a**hole or anything, if I am coming off as one, I apologize. Just curious to what the logic is behind this method of uploading movies that a user provided for downloading and then not knowing where to actual view this video. Am I missing something here? I obviously am, so instead of being a prick, please just explain to me nicely about how to go about researching further into ways to obtain the movies. *NOTICE: I did not ask "where to download or request any specific sites."* This is purely a question on gathering more information about the movies posted with the rating/video quality/format/etc... Thank you.

#3 Many know where/how to access releases.
#4 Not our problem if you have yet to figure it out. (Not trying to be mean, but yeah)
#5 You are missing something, the quality of releases (many times of the same film) are discussed here for comparative reasons. So that those that know where to get releases might have a better idea of whose release to get.

To summarise...

Most pirate movies are released by dedicated groups of pirates who call themselves by various names (VoMiT, DoNE, PreVail etc etc) and these releases find their way out of the closed world that is the pirate underground and find their way onto various publicly available places (Topsites, newsgroups, Torrent sites, IRC, Peer-2-peer and any shite that I've forgotten).

Now, because the releases are named/tagged in a uniform way it's easy to identify which release is which, therefore we can provide reviews of pirate movies without needing to tell people where to obtain it... You download it however the hell you want but so long as the tagging/naming information is intact you can always come to VCDQ to make sure that the release isn't a heap of shit shavings before you hit the "Download" button.

Hope that helps... Don't ask (either in the forum or via private message) how to obtain movies, it's illegal and we won't say and you WILL be banned from our wonderful (and informative) site
