Transistor Problem with No Power
Look, Im no brainiac at computers, but mine will not turn on, so i opened it up and found out one of the transistors fell off. Im just wondering could this be the power problem?
I think you mean capacitor, and it could have been caused by thermal damage, but that is rare. Caps blow (blew enough to come off the board
) due to power fluctuations, bad voltage, etc.
Where did the cap come from? Your Mainboard? Video Card?

it came from my board im thinking. Yeh for some reason it is just off and i can't turn on my computer now. I can only use my work computer for the internet which sucks cause now i can't even download stuff. I got to get a new computer or take it to p.c. repair.
What do you think it could be?
what brand and model? or if built, what motherboard? generally the trouble of finding and re-soldering a cap is more trouble than replacing the board, and could be more expensive anyway...
